RFP SNOW REMOVAL & SALT SERVICE

 

The Board of Education of the Whittemore-Prescott Area School desires to receive RFP’s for lawn services.  Proposals will be accepted until 4:00p.m. Friday, October 27, 2017, at which time they will be publically opened and read.  RFP’s may be obtained from the administration office, 8970 Prescott Rd., Whittemore, MI  48770, or our webpage at: www.wpas.net.

Completed proposals must be sent to the attention of Joseph J. Perrera, Superintendent at the address above.  All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked “SNOW REMOVAL PROPOSAL”.  Proposals submitted facsimile will not be accepted.  Proposals received after 4:00p.m., Friday, October 27, 2017 will be returned unopened.

 

Special Note: Please separate snow removal services and salting services.

 

Although cost will be an important factor in awarding the contract, the school district is not obligated by any statute of regulation to award the purchase of the lawn services solely on the basis of cost.  Accordingly, the school district reserves the right to evaluate all proposals objectively and subjectively and to accept or reject any or all proposals or portion thereof.  Additionally, the district reserves the right to negotiate changes in services with the firm determined to have submitted the proposal that is in the best interest of the district.
